Fic.
Title: The Mutual Appreciation Society
Author: Marvolo
Pairing: Remus/Sirius/James (Sirius/Remus, James/Sirius)
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: light d/s, voyeurism, exhibitionism, absolutely no class at all. probably no characterization, either. spit in your palms, kids! this be porn.
Summary: Sirius wants James, Remus wants Sirius (kinda), and James just wants to watch. It's nasty.
Notes: This is set during the end of sixth year, which to me marks the beginning of the Lily-thing. Endless thanks to Aspen, the loving father who whipping this sucker into readable shape!

I won't, and you're mental if you think I will. )

The odds of me collapsing into a hyperventilating ball of fear and anxiety at people getting notifications of every stupid thing I do rather than ever uploading a new icon:

924987387587349682347535 to 1.

Just needed to clear that up. Seriously, this feature makes me want to vomit up my heart.

Oh, and I want to do this. :( Even though I suspect no one will give me any. Give me lots, people. Give me lots.

You post a topic, list, category, whatever, in my comments section. (examples: "5 things Veronica keeps under her bed," or "5 other things Draco Malfoy could have been doing in the Room of Requirement"). Then, in a separate post, I'll post the answers to all your Top 5 fandom ideas. Then you post this offer in your own journal.

I'll do Harry Potter, Veronica Mars, Firefly, and... probably others as well.

I was commanded to make a post today, so here I am!

I've spent the last few weeks writing almost constantly. It's a weird mishmash of stuff - all HPfic, but several different pairings. I'm trying to follow the path of writing whatever strikes my fancy, as I used to in the Good Old Days. Aspen and I have a kind of pact in which we write without any strings attached, with the clear intention of never posting the results. It's a good way to just take off your filters and let the ideas flow, but then you're left with writing so over-the-top and nasty that you feel a little horrified with yourself. For instance: I've poured a ridiculous amount of time into this wildly graphic and smutty Luna/Neville/Ginny train!sex fic, just because the idea of Ginny helping her virginal friends along tickled me. Self-indulgence is a true delight.

The problem with writing that fic, though, is now I've got this wild appetite for anything relating to Neville. I broke one of my Pointless Fandom Tenants and listened to Pottercast the other day, just to hear Matthew Lewis talk about Neville's new hairstyle for the fifth movie. (Even though he hates it, I think it's the cutest thing on earth. Matthew Lewis, let's suck face.) I have had a deep affection for Neville ever since OotP, but now I just want to write filthy porn in which he taps everything that moves. God, so embarrassing.

In other news, I did that Ten Unpopular Fandom Opinions meme....

They're kind of long. :( )

I wish I could augment this with tons of photographs, but for some reason my camera is not wanting to transfer them to my computer. And, well. Most of my pictures wouldn't really be appropriate in this context anyway. But. slkjdflsk

Two days until Lumos!

It is hot as balls here in Oregon, so I'm kind of questioning my santy re: flying to a place that is currently 110F. It was 106 here yesterday, and if I hadn't spent the whole day hunkered down in a lawn chair with my feet in my nephew's kiddie pool, I'm pretty sure I would have died of heat exhaustion. Like an old person. The only thing I can really muster the energy to do is slather myself in sunscreen, which I do twice an hour. Everyone mocks me, but when they all look like prunes, I will be the one laughing! Actually, I won't, because it's bad form to make fun of old people for their wrinkly sun-damaged skin. But given the fact I once fell asleep on the beach in August, I'll probably actually be the first one to go. It's so complicated.

In a vain attempt to battle the heat, I've taken to getting drunk all of the time. (STFU, this is a sober LJ post.) Which isn't really logical, but at least if I'm trashed, I don't really care that I'm miserable. And my thinking is so muddled that I don't even get bored when I'm crawling around on the floor in search of cooler air. When they find me floating face-down in the kiddie pool, they will wonder.

Anyway, Lumos. (My mother keeps calling it "Illuminati". No, Mom, that's something else...) I fly out of here on Wednesday at 1:20, and arrive in Las Vegas at 3:30. I'll wait around for three hours until Pea and Cassie get in, and then we'll all go to the Marriott. If that seems like a long wait, avert your eyes now, because on Sunday I'll get at the airport at 11:30 AM for my 11:30 PM FLIGHT. Wild, wacky stuff. I honestly don't have any real plans for the two-and-a-half days in between. I'll probably show up to some of the panels (In Defense of Ginny(?), Slash v. Het, Witches Burning/Femslash), although I'm honestly pretty disappointed with the selection. There isn't ONE on Tom Riddle, if you can believe it. There's about eight variations on "Why I Want Snape to Put His Penis in Me", but nothing on the early years of Voldemort, the Riddle family, or the transformation from man into "dark lord" - and I can think of about a dozen interesting discussion points off the top of my head. THAT'S ONE HELL OF AN OVERSIGHT. Bleh.

Oh by the way, I think everyone should see Lady in the Water! I have talked to two people this weekend (John and I saw it on Friday night) who were like, "Oh, I heard it sucked... I'm not going..." and I fear that lame critics are going to turn everyone off from it. I thought it was really engaging and interesting and enjoyable. It's a dark feel-good film, if such a thing is possible. Considering what is currently in theaters, it beats out its competition by a long shot!! I honestly don't see why the hell everyone is giving it poor reviews. I think they're all sore that M. Night Shyamalan refuses to give them what they are after, aka Sixth Sense 2: The Seventh Sense. This one is part of the Signs/Village side of the family, which to my mind is a good thing. In fact, after taking my mom to see LITW today, I rented The Village, because she hasn't seen it yet. It is a mini-Shyamalanathon....

Annnnnnyway. TWO DAYS UNTIL LUMOS!! Why haven't I packed yet?

Title: Every Good Boy Does Fine
Author: Marvolo
Pairing: Lupin/Harry/Sirius
Rating: NC-17
Warnings/Kinks: chan (age thirteenish), threesome, cross-gen.
Summary: Sirius and Remus teach Harry how to wank. And that leads to everything else.
Notes: This is total smut. I have started writing fics that do nothing but arouse me, so don't expect any of that logic crap to figure in. This is theoretically sometime shortly after the events of PoA - so it's an alternate universe of sorts. Much thanks to Aspen for the beta read! *_*

Title: Don't Let It Go to Your Head
Author: Marvolo
Pairing: Draco/Pansy
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: Spanking, teen/teen sex.
Summary: The summer between fifth and sixth years, a raucous fight, and a rather satisfactory resolution.
Notes/Etc.: Aspen totally made this fic happen, to the extent that I owe her one of my vital organs. Seriously.

Title: Between Me & You
Author: Marvolo
Pairing: Veronica/Leo
Rating: NC-17
Summary: Leo and Veronica make use of the privacy of police vehicles.
Spoilers: It would require a plot in order to spoil, but only really makes sense if you've seen up to 1x16.
Warnings: blowjobs! car sex! facials! PWP!
Author Note: Those who are squicked by blowjobs should definitely pass on this one! Thanks to Aspen for understanding why Leo is excellent, and being the incentive for me to finish this.

Title: A Long Night
Author: Marvolo
Pairing: Logan/Veronica
Rating: NC-17
Summary: Logan accompanies Veronica on a stake-out.
Spoilers: Nothing overt, but any inferred explanation comes from 1x14-1x15.
Notes: This is just a little smutlet I wrote for my friend Aspen! Logan/Veronica was way hotter back before it was canon. ♥

( 'What the hell IS that?' she demanded. )
